It would seem that certain governing bodies are actively approaching and questioning crew members of a production that is currently running in NSW, this is being done in the hope to gain inside information on the protocols and procedures that were used to keep the production operational and safe.
It’s not bad enough that these controlling bodies have demanding certain detailed documentation from the production before giving them permission to move forward each step of the way. We find out this information is being used to help other productions to open back up again when they couldn’t figure out how to do it themselves…
I have said before I don’t begrudge anyone working or wanting to work, what I do begrudge is others taking our hard work and claiming it to be their own work.
To keep our crews employed and pave the way for the greater industry to open we had to bow to certain criteria, and we did so in good faith.
A lot of time and a great deal of money was spent in creating the safe, on set working protocols and procedures in managing covid-19.
I don’t understand why these governing bodies are still spending so much time and money trying to re-create what is already been tested and proven unless they think they can cash in on it …
No matter what document they produce it will always be a partial facsimile of the actual working document…
What people need to understand is that no one has or has been given all the information, the key components will always remain allusive to those who try to obtain it covertly or underhandedly.
It takes more than putting pen to paper, much more… A film set is a living entity so is its safety protocols…
A little information is a dangerous thing… and by taking small pieces and elements off other people who were looking from the outside in is just as dangerous and destructive as just making it up yourself…
Why would anyone think that those who couldn’t do it in first place can succeed by riding on the coattails of others.
Now is not the time to cut corners, failure will put the industry back twice as far as it is right now…
Be careful, be smart, be safe…
